What the project does
Isla Solar Designer is a preliminary solar design prototype for residential and commercial sites. It brings maps, roof geometry, editable photovoltaic modules, equipment information and printable project reports into one browser workflow.
Its geometry works in a local metre-based coordinate frame. The project includes component rotation, boundary and collision checks, versioned local saving and JSON export. Browser-local storage is not a cloud backup or team service.
The homepage geometry experiment is a separate, simplified interactive explanation. It does not replace the full application or produce engineering-approved installation plans.
